## Aggregate verdict

Choose the Brede 2.0 when protection, reinforcement, layering room, and a substantial hood matter more than low weight. It has performed well in rain, wind, snow, and stormy skiing, though one owner found moisture protection disappointing. Expect a heavy shell that needs insulation in cold weather. Pocket overlap, collar behavior, adjustments, and the unreliable sleeve compass are the main practical drawbacks.
