## Aggregate verdict

A practical three-layer shell for hiking and mountaineering, with consistently positive reports on rain and wind protection. Its regular cut provides layering room, while large pit zips make heat management straightforward. It feels robust without becoming excessively heavy or bulky, although current experience is too recent to prove long-term longevity. The missing inner pocket is the clearest usability compromise.
