## Aggregate verdict

A capable mountain shell with useful pockets, pit zips, and layering room, but rain performance is not completely consistent. Many owners stayed dry through heavy rain, blizzards, and prolonged outdoor work; two experienced serious leakage or wetting out. Comfort and ventilation are generally strong, while the long sleeves help taller wearers but frustrate others. Inspect the zip action and confirm the fit before committing.
