The three-layer, fully taped construction comes with a 20K waterproofing and 20K breathability rating – making this jacket a perfect balance of light, robust and packable. We’ve fine-tuned it with an adjustable hood, hem and cuffs; pit zippers; and a PFC-free DWR coating. A true mountain companion to keep at arm's reach.

## Aggregate verdict

Buy this roomy, packable hardshell for hiking, cycling, and everyday rain protection. It has performed through heavy rain lasting several hours, with effective ventilation, generous pockets, and room for warm layers. Comfort impressions are not unanimous, and long-term durability is still unclear because the detailed field reports come from recently purchased jackets.
