## Aggregate verdict

A light, stretchy shell that is comfortable to move in, easy to pack, and generally dependable in showers and sustained rain. However, several owners experienced seepage or complete wet-out during prolonged exposure, so it is a better choice for travel, hiking, and changeable weather than for trips where all-day waterproofing is critical. The small hood and limited pocket space may also be deal-breakers.
