## Aggregate verdict

A highly packable shell suited to fast outings and changeable spring or summer weather. It has performed well in strong wind and rain, with good breathability, but one owner cautioned that its protection is lighter-duty than a fully taped mountain shell. The slim fit limits bulky layering, and the lack of hand pockets and pit zips is the clearest compromise. Long-term durability is unknown.
