## Aggregate verdict

A soft, stretchy and quiet waterproof that excels during active use and packs easily. It handles wind, showers, and many substantial downpours, but sustained rain can eventually penetrate for some wearers. The close technical fit and snug hood need trying on, while repeated abrasion and pilling reports make it a cautious choice for regular use under a backpack.
