The Lyle IV is a compact, lightweight rain shell suited to travel, commuting, running, and backup use. Many owners stayed dry in heavy rain, but a minority experienced soak-through, and breathability ranges from comfortable to very sweaty. Loose non-adjustable cuffs are the clearest recurring fit problem. Pocket access is limited, and scattered tears, zip faults, stitching defects, and hood-toggle failures make an arrival inspection worthwhile.
