Regatta Pack-It III vs Lyle IV
Choose Pack-It III for a simple unlined shell that stores in a separate stuff sack. Choose Lyle IV if you want a mesh lining, concealed hood and zipped lower pockets. Regatta also makes the Lyle’s pocket convert into a belt bag.

The differences that matter
The storage systems differ in a useful way. Pack-It uses a separate bag, while the Lyle converts its left pocket. If you regularly misplace a small stuff sack or want to carry the packed jacket separately, try the pocket arrangement before deciding which is more convenient.
Regatta warns that mixed seasonal Pack-It stock can carry different waterproof ratings, and the checked page contains inconsistent rating references. We therefore do not use one numerical rating to declare a winner. Both use waterproof Isolite polyamide with taped seams; the lining and storage remain clearer differences.

Which should you choose?
Choose Pack-It for the simpler unlined layout if a separate bag suits your routine. Choose Lyle for its mesh lining, zipped pockets and belt-bag storage. Check the garment label on Pack-It stock and do not assume every version has the same rating because the product name is unchanged.
